But things change, even for the rulers, and while the band has survived to claim veteran status, this hasn't been without creative struggle. 2010's A Thousand Suns went the "concept" route, the braintrust clearly believing that the LP's kid-stituency grew up to believe that name-dropping Radiohead is better than admitting you once downloaded the ringtone for "In the End."
