'Finnish Metal Tour 2'

The only things connecting the bands playing tonight are a love of extreme heavy metal and a landmass slightly smaller than Montana. The cleverly titled Finnish Metal Tour 2 is headlined by Finntroll, a band that lives up to its name in hairiness, though they're a bit tall for troll status; they play folk metal, kind of like the Dropkick Murphys feuding with metallers Children of Bodom. Main support Ensiferum also play folk metal, but they actually use folk instruments like tin whistles and "kantele." Rounding things off, openers Rotten Sound play can't-miss Napalm Death-inspired grindcore and Barren Earth play melodic death metal. Bring the kiddies.

A pathetic summary from someone who obviously doesn't know anything about finnish folk metal. I blame the Voice for the hipsters I saw infiltrating the show. Keep real metal out of the radar! This is a band for metalheads and heathens! Keep Finntroll to those who really know and love them. Death to hipsters!!
