Are the Hamptons ready for a boy from Ancient Greece?

More About

David Greenspan is not an artist who is good at staying put—or moving in reverse. He continues to excel as an actor, and nearly every year seems to bring another script from him. His latest play, Go Back to Where You Are, making its world premiere at Playwrights Horizons, concerns a chorus boy mystically launched from the Ancient Greek theater to the Hamptons of the present day. As the sock and buskin aren’t a great look for the beach, he’ll have a lot to learn. Greenspan stars alongside a seven-member cast including Tim Hopper and Mary Shultz. Director Leigh Silverman, who last collaborated with Greenspan on Coraline, tries to avoid tragedy.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 2 p.m.; Sundays, 7 p.m. Starts: March 24. Continues through May 1, 2011
