A good decade and a half since their last release, the Dead Milkmen are just now tiring of the whole Anonymous brand of band-livin. The result: new album The King in Yellow and a show at a happily scruffed-out pierogi hut. The Philly punks rose in the 80s hardcore scene as acerbically witty lyricists and floor-shaking rioters (both abetted by their very strong city accents), landing scene cred with excellently titled albums Eat Your Paisley, Beelzebubba, Metaphysical Graffiti . . .Honestly, we could just list their album titles and snicker to ourselves all day. What can we say? Were their Punk Rock Girl.
