A three-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Eric Clapton has enjoyed Legendary Guitar Playing Master Dude status since the late 1960s. From his early Yardbirds/Cream-era psychedelic rock to the somber ballads of his later solo periods, Clapton continues to showcase his stylistic range in concert. "Slow Hand" should aptly describes this rambling, bluesy, solo-filled show, and you'll hear some of the usual suspects. With jazz trumpeter/composer and JALC Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis.
Fri., April 8, 8 p.m.; Sat., April 9, 8 p.m., 2011
