More About
Weve all heard the similarities between Lady Gagas Born This Way track and that of mother figure Madonnas Express Yourself, so its no coincidence that comedian Nadya Ginsburg does the same in her one-woman show Madonnalogues. The self-proclaimed edgy, Jewtalian Tracy Ullman brings her L.A. show to the East Coast for one night only to show us what Madonna is really like. And apparently she gets the Madonna-speak down to a tee: Her Maddy in particular is perfection, meshing the Material Girls nasally pitch, subtle English enunciations, and melodramatic pauses, says the L.A. Weekly. Ginsburg also shows off original characters, such as Babka (a Russian bikini waxer and lounge singer) and Belinda the Vampire (a guidette vamp/metal chick/cocktail waitress), proving she can be as much of a chameleon as Madge.
