A Super 8mm film festival
Get down low—lo-fi, that is. Flicker NYC, New York’s only Super 8mm festival, is continuing their ongoing showcase of local and international cinema using that unique film stock with their 10th anniversary show. The program includes short films ranging from British pieces on cloning and robots, a South Korean thriller, a French fantasy and documentary, a Spanish battle to the death between two cameras, U.S. meditations on suicide, and a music video of She & Him. The Flicker Film Grant will be awarded, and audience members can enjoy Super 8 raffle prizes and an after-party. And you know no one parties like those lo-fi filmmakers
