Brooklyn-based quartet the Gregory Brothers are zen masters of YouTube, having Auto-Tuned their way into millions of webizens’ hearts through collaborations with Antoine Dodson (“Bedroom Intruder”), Charlie Sheen (“Winning”), and Katie Couric (“Auto-Tune the News”). For a montage at this year’s Oscars telecast, they even made an r&b seduction artist out of Harry Potter’s Ron Weasley. Now that they’ve thoroughly conquered cyberspace, what’s left? Well, they seek to conquer the terrestrial world via the YouTube-sponsored Digitour, which features them and other viral stars (including Dave Days, Destorm, Ricky Ficarelli, and David Choi) performing live versions of their hit songs—using, like, three-dimensional musical instruments—while their videos play behind them.
