It's amazing that a gaggle of Londoners can so ardently channel the fuzzy Yankee rock of Pavement, Dinosaur Jr., and all that tweedy '90s ilk. Also astounding: that they found a name even worse than that of one of their previous groups, Cajun Dance Party. (What? Shut it down.) Yes, Yuckand this year's squall of a self-titled debut is pretty brilliant, sometimes despite themselves, and it's about time they returned to our shores and stereos (stereooo-oos).
