'Deep Space Presents Radio Slave'
Last time Matt Edwards played Deep Space, he was billed as part of Quiet Village, and that duo's discofied, sample-heavy productions are certainly a good match for the night. This time, he's showing up as Radio Slave, the name he most often uses as a DJ and remixer, and for which he's (rightly) famous--which isn't to say we won't get some of his deep techno (as Rekid), Chicago-inspired house (Matthew E) or even found-sound experiments (the Machine). Under any name, he's a masterful extended set DJ and has the range to be comfortable alongside resident Francois K.
