Tourists often confuse hipsters, with their blank expressions and offbeat walking pace, for zombies—and they're partially right. Tonight, it will seem even more evident when the NYC Zombie Crawl returns to Brooklyn. From Bedford Avenue to McCarren Park, zombies will be crawling from bar to bar, playing human tug-o-war, drinking, and doing whatever else zombies do. Then, if you're still alive, an after-party awaits at Public Assembly. Before the crawl, head to the Knitting Factory, where zombie technicians will do your makeup for free (this part is all ages). Zombies are also invited to help film (even with your smart phone) a horror scene right there in hipster central. Just don't confuse the living for the dead.
