One of the few soul revivalist bands doing justice to Jake and Elwood Blues, this eight-piece, Austin-based funk posse is the perfect complement to your all-day beef bender. Bringing the brisket is frontman Joe Lewis, who testifies like Wilson Pickett on a 5-Hour Energy binge. Then there's the rub--a boozy melange of seasoning, from Booker T. and the MGs to the Meters to Hubert Sumlin.
