Neither tendinitis nor cancer can keep master keysman Terry Adams from carrying on the flag for this band. For this latest of numerous reunions, the group is now made up of members of TA's backing band on his last album, making singer Joey Spampinato particularly missed. But Terry's always been the heart of the band, driving them on from all manner of trad rock which doesn't sound sickly nostalgic to Sun Ra space-isms that don't sound outre for their own sake. It's a pretty impressive balancing acts that other bands might want to note.
