New York can't handle the Nobunny. Ah, fuck it, of course it can, but it's fun to present a dude who rocks a rabbit mask and dollar-store lingerie as some kind of harbinger of urban chaos. The nice thing about Nobunny? His jams hop between hyper and happy, channeling the garage rock guano of Goner and HoZac (labels he's recorded for) through giddy and drunk '60s frat rock, never once going anywhere near the kind of goon squad bad tidings you might expect a masked man to harbor in his darkest places.
