Led by a tall, stovepipe-hatted white guy named Richard A. Morse (from whose initials the group's name derives), RAM is a more than credible, often thrilling mizik raisin group from Port-au-Prince. Trance from another hemisphere is in store when West Sahara's Group Doueh debuts their distorted and distended riffs on the heels of a not-bad Sublime Frequencies debut. Belgian-Congolese performer Baloji raps and croons in French, Swahili, and other African tongues. Globesonic Sound System supplies pre-concert beats.
