Colombia-born Edmar Castaneda plays his homeland's "arpa llanera," a diatonic harp he rocks with the virtuosic pizazz of, say, Charlie Hunter. Leading a group consisting of trombonist Marshall Gilkes, drummer David Silliman, and contralto countrywoman Andrea Tierra, Castaneda begins where Joanna Newsom calls it quits. Expect sounds that split the difference between folklore and roller-coaster flamboyance.
