The inimitable Ted Leo has recorded some of the most infectiously catchy songs in indie over the past decade, and that is precisely why he headlined The Village Voice’s 4Knots kickoff show earlier this summer. At that concert, he celebrated the 10th anniversary of his breakthrough album, The Tyranny of Distance, by playing it in its entirety. Tonight’s show could be just as special, if only for the fact that, with no record to promote or anniversary-concert pressure, he has nothing better to do than to put on a good show.
