With Real Estate, Matthew Mondale plays slinky guitar lines that start out as indie pop and wind towards classic psychedelia. As Ducktails, he explores the everyday psychedelia of a time when websites like YouTube allow us to watch everything from economic forecasts to kittens playing and the children’s show under whose name he records only by pressing a few buttons on our telephones on the way to work. Tonight, he brings these explorations out of the screen and onto the stage at Glasslands. With Greatest Hits, Family Portrait, and Future Shuttle.
