More About

Because it's pretty well-established that robots are going to take over the world soon, better get a head start on kissing the future establishment's butt. Go to the World Maker Faire to meet and greet with our new leaders: cute, little masters of the universe made out of K'nex construction toy pieces. Mechanical engineer Don Dagen's wooden dowel robot is just one of the DIY projects on display at this expo hosted by Makemagazine. There's also BirdBrain Technologies' Brainlink, a system that helps home programmers upgrade toy bots into more intelligent beings, and Let's Make Robots' Yellow Drum Machine, a small vehicle that makes beats and samples as it drives by. At least we know that our subservience to machines will have a good soundtrack.
