What's a good pairing with beef and chive salad? Perhaps a side of James Murphy? Sounds delish, and that's exactly what's going down at Le Grand Fooding, a food and music "campfire session" that originated in France. Tonight, while we get toasty around the fire, Murphy will team up with chef Inaki Aizpitarte (from Le Chateaubriand in Paris) for their food presentation, while vocalist Muhsinah does some musical collaboration with chef Dante Gonzales (from Dante Fried Chicken). After the semi-acoustic show, drinks will be served by Milk & Honey and Dutch Kills, plus you'll have the DJ sets of Nancy Whang (former LCD Soundsystem) and DJ Mehdi to help you digest. So, pass the marshmallows.
