If you haven't stopped by the High Line yet to take in the new second section of the elevated park, David Byrne is giving you a good reason to come out. His new installation, "Tight Spot," on display for two weeks (beginning with a public reception on September 15), is a 48-by-20-foot inflatable globe squeezed into a too-small space beneath the tracks. Speakers placed inside the piece will make a deep vibrating sound (made by Byrne's own voice) to lure passersby for a closer look. Pace Gallery presents the installation.
