The restlessly adventurous Mississippi native opens Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Visionary Voices series with a two-night stand at the Rose Theater. Last year Wilson released the typically sprawling Silver Pony, featuring tunes by Stevie Wonder and Charley Patton and guest appearances by Ravi Coltrane and John Legend. Hopefully this time she’ll rev up her darkly grooving version of the Beatles’ “Blackbird.”
