After finishing touring behind her band’s double-platinum The Open Door, frontwoman Amy Lee took a few years off to find herself. She reportedly wrote an entire album’s worth of Björk- and Band of Horses–style indie rock, but ditched it to return to her (dyed-black) hard-rock roots. As such, her group’s latest release is self-titled and contains a gothic-tinged single about “remembering who you really are,” titled “What You Want,” and her fans have welcomed her back as though she never left. With former Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen’s the Pretty Reckless and hard rockers Rival Sons.
