Haunting Brooklyn might seem like a formidable task, but Red Bull and the folks at the Open Space Alliance of North Brooklyn (OSA) are tackling it for the second year. Red Bull Trick or Treat invites 32 of the most bad-to-the bone BMX riders, including pro rider and Brooklyn native Edwin De La Rosa, to a “Live or Die” Halloween race. The obstacles for this race include a graveyard, coffins, a tombstone vertical wall, a grim reaper’s rail box, and, of course, a hearse. Riders who make it through each round “live” to go on to an all-out six-rider final. The last rider standing—so to speak—will be well-treated. Spectators are urged to come in costume.
