Montreal musician Little Scream writes cheery, hippie-dippie folk in the vein of tUnE-yArDs but retains her own idiosyncratic edge. This year, aided by members of The Arcade Fire, Silver Mount Zion and Stars, she released The Golden Record, a charming debut that revels in experimentation.
