The latest news from Danny Meyer HQ involves not the 804th location of Shake Shack but the Union Square Hospitality Group’s new café at the Whitney, scheduled to open next month. Named Untitled, it takes inspiration from the “classic” coffee shops that once populated Madison Avenue and will serve updated (read: made with “carefully sourced local ingredients”) “classic” coffee-shop fare, as well as all-day breakfast and Stumptown coffee. Chris Bradley, who cooked most recently at Gramercy Tavern, will helm the kitchen.
