More About

On January 17, 1969, the Beatles released Yellow Submarine, their 10th studio album and the follow-up to the The White Album. The record wasn’t their biggest seller, and contributing songs they didn’t consider to be all that good (which, of course, were still pretty good), the Fab Four had minimal involvement in it. Nevertheless, this is the reason for tonight’s Beatles Sing-Along. Although do we really need a special occasion to get together and sing Beatles tunes? We think not! Tonight, indulge your Beatlemania with Beatles music videos, movie clips, and TV and live performances featuring your favorite songs—all of which include subtitles, so you can sing along (not like you’ll need them though). There will be a costume contest to win drinks and Beatles memorabilia, so dressing up as your favorite moptop is highly encouraged. Now, if we could just find a red satin Day-Glo military jacket.
