Carlos Giffoni’s solo career (the No Fun Fest/Productions impresario has also done time in Monotract and as part of scuzz-note supergroup Death Unit) doubles as a record of the man’s shifting relationship with synthesizers. Alternately angular, fuzzed-out, scraping, thermonuclear, and—if one wants to deal the electronic-pop noise of No Fun Acid into the mix—dosed.
