For two decades, the Sanford Smith’s Outsider Art Fair has brought together the in-crowd of outsiders—self-taught, non-mainstream artists, also known as visionary artists. Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, the fair highlights the works of more than 350 artists in cooperation with the Collection de l’Art Brut from Lausanne, Switzerland, El Museo del Barrio, and the American Folk Art Museum. Catch panel discussions, talks, and films, including the premiere of one film asking that important and controversial question: Is it art?
