We never thought we’d see the day that the music of the Insane Clown Posse and a weird and wonderful downtown performance artist would come together, but we have Neal Medlyn to thank for continually defying expectations. His latest show, Wicked Clown Love, stars the deadpan Medlyn, Farris Craddock, and Carmine Covelli taking part in a variety of rowdy and horrific “male bonding activities” hitherto reserved for Juggalos, or ICP fans, such as wrestling, face paint, and, in Medlyn’s words, “fuckin’ all-out buck-wild behavior.” Set design comes courtesy of none other than riot grrrl Kathleen Hanna.
