Shaggy-haired downer rockers the Men play devastating murky out-rock that’s not quite hardcore and not quite garage scuzz, but it’s punctuated nonetheless with sore-throat vocals that could be the aural equivalent of a nervous breakdown. Tonight is the record release party for their new disc, Open Your Heart; we can only imagine that title left out the phrase “with a dirty scalpel.” With American Snake Skin, Nude Beach and Organs.
