I have looked at getting my face injected to restore it's youth. I wasn't really sure what made your face look good when doing this, but I know it helps with wrinkles. I really like the comparison of baby cheeks to our cheeks now. http://www.stephanidesplasticsurgery.com

Michael, from reading this article it sounds like face lifts are one of the most popular types of plastic surgery. I agree that people are sometimes over doing things with surgery. I laughed at your comment about how extreme makeovers are for homes and not for bodies.

This time of the year is apt for a stunning makeover, especially if you want to look your best for a fresh start-up in life. Gleaming looks are not only for movie stars, but now everybody can have it while spending fewer dollars. Innovations have taken place in plastic surgery too; all older, less effective and painful procedures have been replaced with much better versions that leaves a very minimal scar. But, all will be well only when you get your skin the right amount of treatment. Check out http://www.drtavakoli.com.au/ for some interesting surgical and non-surgical procedures for every face lift, tummy tucks, breast, nose and lip jobs, whatever, you name it.

Plastic surgery is truly an interesting field. It's allowing people to reach a whole new level of body modification. One has to wonder what the cultural repercussions of this might end up being. I, myself, think that things have already changed for good.

Michael, this is so interesting. I had no idea that there was so many different things you can do to your face. I only really knew about Botox, so it cool to find out there is a lot of different things to do. It seems its a good idea to do some research before doing plastic surgery.

When my friend first told me that she wanted to get a face lift, I thought she was crazy. But as I started doing a little more research, I was surprised to find that almost all of the plastic surgery results I looked at were actually quite well done. It's great to see that surgeons are becoming more skilled. Now I don't think my friend is quite so strange for wanting to get a little work done. http://www.cosmeticsurgeryri.com/dw-practice.htm

Although there are several procedures available now a days. I agree that less is better you don't want to look like its unreal or get complications in the future.

Make a consultation and ask your surgeon what's best for you. http://plasticsurgeryquotes.com.au

I definitely agree that when it comes to plastic surgery less is more. You definitely don't want to over do it and end up looking fake. However, there are so many slight procedures that you can have done that can really help boost your self esteem. It is amazing how common plastic surgery is becoming. It seems like it gets more and more common every year.

Micheal, I had no idea that there was such a thing as fat injections. My sister wanted to get her face re-contoured; she got a filler injection. I wonder if she knew about the fat injections. It seems like plastic facial surgery can give someone a really good boost in confidence.

I have a friend who's considering getting facial plastic surgery. I think she'd really appreciate these tips. She's been especially curious about the botox aspect of the surgery, and you address that directly. If she goes through with it, I hope everything goes smoothly. Thanks so much for the advice! http://www.drgulin.com/

I had no idea that there were so many different ways to get plastic surgery.  The Dysport sounded pretty interesting to me.  I think I might want to try something like that, especially since it acts so quickly. http://www.cosmeticeyelids.com

It it nice to see that minimal is the trend. I wasn't much of a fan of that over operated look everyone was getting. My aunt is thinking about a facelift to remove some wrinkles from her forehead. http://www.drjasongray.com

I'm considering getting Botox injections for my birthday actually. I've been dealing with wrinkles for too long and I want to keep myself looking and feeling young. At least I've been able to hold my body in shape for a while. It would be nice to have my face follow suit. I just hope that I can afford it.

@slartybardfauster It is incredible that plastic surgery is able to remove the marks of aging. I had never heard of using fat injections. It would be a great way to improve your look because fat cells are enriched with stem cells that rejuvenate any part of your body.

Facial cosmetic surgery is a super interesting field. I love that people can have their face constructed to what they want it to look like by skilled physicians. I know that most people probably will never seek it out, but it can truly change the lives of those who do get it, or so I've heard. It's a great way to deal with facial injury as well and has made many people's lives much easier.

@sijamesmon You're definitely right about cosmetic surgery changing lives, sijameson. It's pretty easy to find stories about people whose lives were improved because of the surgery they received. Even something as simple as the sagging facial features that were mentioned in the article can be treated. I've never had the procedure done before, but I definitely wouldn't hesitate to consider it! http://www.vaccaroplasticsurgery.com

It is good to see that the plastic surgery trends are going back to looking a little more natural.  Photography is my profession and it bugs me to no end when people over Photoshop the faces so the skin and bone structure no longer resembles anything human.  The same goes with plastic surgery I think.  Small enhancements can be beautiful and add a lot to the person's aesthetics.  However, drastic procedures can sometimes detract from the body as a whole and look worse.  That is just my opinion though.

It's so important that people are having these surgeries a little bit at a time. I know that I want to get some work done, quite a bit actually, but I can't do it all at once. Even though it would be nice if all the results could be instantaneous, it just wouldn't look natural. http://www.jamesbradymd.com

I chuckled when you mentioned that extreme makeovers can work on homes but not on faces.  It seems like one would want to get small changes over time so as to avoid problems.   My aunt has gotten a couple of plastic surgery procedures in the past.  I wonder what she could tell me about the process. http://www.chicagolandaesthetics.com

I think you're right: nobody is a big fan of the 'overly operated' look. Having a little work done, however, can do wonders for a persons confidence themselves. What we've seen is that many people have one area of their body that is unappealing to them. If a simple surgery can correct that and give them their confidence back, I say it's totally worth it. Thanks for sharing these tips! http://www.drmjtrovato.com

I'm so glad that they're coming up with newer and better technologies in the facelift. The needles always scared me a little bit, so it's good to hear that facelifts are less invasive than they used to be! I don't think anybody really likes the plastic look, so I'm also glad to hear that a lot of people are going for a more natural look. http://www.cohenplasticsurgery.com/dr-brian-d-cohen/

Having a plastic surgery procedure under an unqualified surgeon can lead to drastic results. That’s why I really loved the personalized care and treatment I got from skilled and comprehensive experienced doctor.

I liked the idea that "less is more." I think that the little things are what make a big difference in plastic surgery. I have seen many people who have had little things done with drastic results. They still have a natural looking face, but it is improved with the work that they had done. I would definitely start small and then work my way up, if necessary.

The miraculously amazing outcomes of plastic surgery have lured many people towards it. However, the results can also come out ugly if your surgeon is unqualified. Plastic surgeon forum can help you choose the best surgeon in town. To assure the best results, you must get the job done from the best people in this business.
