Red Rooster Harlem chef Marcus Samuelsson will read from his memoir, Yes, Chef, on Wednesday, June 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. The book tells the story of Samuelsson, who was born in Ethopia and adopted by a Swedish family when he was 3, and how he grew up, found his way to New York, and eventually the head of one of NYC's premiere restaurants. Following the reading, he'll chat with TV personality Isaac Mizrahi about the struggles and challenges he met through his journey. Refreshments will be served, and ticketholders will receive $10 off the book.
