To contemplate Riff Raff is to gawp at the very fact of his existence. And it’s not, you know, the Gucci Mane/Lil B-esque diarrhea stream of cracked-out non-sequiturs and mixtapes doled out recklessly, or even the bizarre YouTube clips. Mostly it’s just that visually, this California MC/actor embodies a certain strain of obliviousness so psychopathic—think Dave Sheridan in Ghost World or Karl Diedrich Bader in Napoleon Dynamite—that it’s downright addictive. One day he’ll be introduced to Ariel “Pink” Rosenburg, and the universe will officially collapse in on itself.
