Obituary+Decrepit Birth+Encrust+Jungle Rot

Two decades ago, Obituary released its best-selling album, The End Complete, at a time when death metal's growled vocals, jackhammer rhythms and ultra-distorted guitar riffs were depicted by the media as an affront to common decency. Tonight, they're celebrating those early, seemingly more dangerous days by playing only the vocal-nodule-scraping bowel churners found on their first three LPs. And just so concertgoers don't feel like jerks for seeing an Obituary concert today, the band is donating two dollars from every ticket to a 9/11 charity. With Broken Hope, Decrepit Birth, Jungle Rot, Encrust and Open Denile.
