San Diego post-punk meets shoegaze band Crocodiles make a lot of noise for two people. Charles Rowell and Brandon Welchez started the band in 2008 while still playing in an early version of the Dum Dum Girls, which helped increase exposure and even grabbed the attention of fellow Cali noisemakers No Age. Now three albums deep, Crocodiles have mastered the art (or perhaps anti-art) of blending white wash high gain guitar and melodic vocals for a strangely appealing lo-fi bubblegum pop sound.
