Murder, Inc.

The biggest criminals are on the loose

Despite the fun of Dexter and a bunch of fetishist Manson flicks, we’ve got to get real
and say serial killers are largely not cool. Haunted-attraction mavericks Timothy Haskell and Steve Kopelman get it. This year’s theatrical fright fest is hell-bent on subverting the myth of the sexy serial murderer, making it gutsy—in every possible sense of the word. Killers: A Nightmare Haunted House will feature legends both historical and contemporary, portraying sickos like Ted Bundy and the Zodiac Killer as what they really were, that is, grotesque and generally scream-worthy. The 25-minute walk-through production is designed to scare the most cynical adults, forged by a meticulous creative team with an extensive Off-Broadway background. Afterward, stop by the gallery exhibition featuring authentic memorabilia and possessions belonging to the killers you no doubt have just narrowly escaped.
