With SketchFest NYC on hiatus from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater this year, the Peoples Improv Theater saw it as the perfect time to launch their first-ever New York City Sketch Festival, four days of shows, workshops, and panels on the PIT’s two stages. Highlights include the sweater-vest-loving jokesters of Harvard Sailing Team, the raunchy humor of Murderfist, and the talented Elephant Larry. It kicks off with Templeton Philharmonic, two funny ladies from Toronto with a penchant for Edwardian clothing and biting social commentary.
