Like many spots in NYC after Sandy, the Lower East Side more or less had to cancel Halloween this year. But just like a zombie that can't be killed, Halloween is back thanks to the organizers of the Killers haunted house. From four to seven today, children can go trick or treating at more than 40 shops marked "participant location" (Economy Candy alone donated 100 pounds of sweets for the occasion). For the adults, anyone dressed in costume can get into the Killers haunted house for only $20 from 10 to 11 p.m. and join the after party. Sounds like it will be a happy Halloween after all.
