Now that a couple of years have passed since "witch house" was one of the more hotly debated new (or maybe "new") music genres, hindsight is a blurry approximation of 20/20. In regards to oOoOO, it's most enjoyable outside of the context of quickly abandoned flavors of the week. The latest album electro warlock Chris Gordon has released under that onomatopoeic name, Our Love Is Hurting Us, sounds simply like slowed-down, snail-paced dream pop—another once hotly contested genre—but Gordon is committed enough to the sound to sell it well.
