For those who would rather warm their bones to “Béla Lugosi’s Dead” than “Jingle Bells” this holiday season, the Morbid Anatomy Library, “committed to celebrating and providing materials dedicated to the places where death and beauty intersect,” is hosting Holiday Fair! Sicilian Sex Ghost Lecture and Slideshow. Get your hands on some taxidermy, waxworks, beer, and deaccessioned artifacts (makes for the perfect holiday gift) while listening to a ghostly lecture by Paul Koudounaris (Empire of Death). Also partake in Morbid Anatomy’s popular anthropomorphic insect shadowbox class or enjoy music and cocktails by Friese Undine. Baked goods by Rachel Rideout will be on hand. Now that’s a holiday party.
