Say Hello to Ovenly, Plaza Food Hall

Brooklyn’s Northeast Kingdom restaurant just added a new wine room to their downstairs den. The space allows them to expand the wine list to match their farm-to-table and foraged menu. Wine and cocktails are served downstairs.

Organic Avenue recently took the opportunity to nab a short-term lease at the former Ferragamo store on 57th near Fifth Ave. The pop-up will be the largest Organic Avenue location yet, which will run for the next three months. (Grub Street)

A food hall at The Plaza has opened and is featuring Luke’s Lobster, Francois Payard, Lady M, and Sushi of Gari. The Plaza Food Hall was created in partnership with celebrity chef Todd English. [Blackbook]

Vooter Adda Chinese Restaurant has opened in Flushing. The store comes from the owner of the Biryani Cart. Some menu items: wasabi rooster chicken wings and Thai-style masala beef. (Tasting Table)

Ovenly, a wholesale bakery, has added a retail store in Brooklyn. They have an impressive scone collection: blue-cheese-pecan scones and Bloody Mary scones. [NYTimes]
