WHAT COUNTRY IS

See Luke Bryan shake it for
you at Nassau Coliseum

Although he entered Nashville writing songs for country music pros like Travis Tritt and Billy Currington, few outside the city recognized the name Luke Bryan until 2007’s I’ll Stay Me, a solid debut anchored by the joyful lead single “All My Friends Say” and its nostalgic follow-up “We Rode in Trucks.” His latest and best, Tailgates & Tanlines, released in 2011, is still putting songs into radio rotation: The most recent, “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye,” finds this baseball-cap-wearing pretty boy asking his pretty girl for one more night together.
Tonight, he plays the suburban Nassau
Coliseum with two rising acts, Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line.
