True story: our ingenious columnist Michael Musto was once the leader of a Motown cover band in the ’80s. If you missed him then, you’ll get your chance to see his grand return to the stage tonight at Michael Musto’s ’70s Disco Extravaganza, which will be held in—where else?—the basement of the former nightclub Studio 54. He’ll be joined by Tony nominee Orfeh, his sidekicks Snooky and Tish, the Village People’s original cowboy Randy Jones (singing “Y.M.C.A.”!), and the groovy disco cover band the Elektrik Company. Can you dig it?
