The guitarist-composer augments music from his lovely 2011 album Search with a new extended piece, "Train Dreams." Harrison blends jazz improvisation with classical writing without a whiff of cliché, neatly splitting the difference between the Allman Brothers and Olivier Messaien. This version of his octet features Gregoire Maret (harmonica), Paul Hanson (electric bassoon), Stephan Crump (bass), and Rudy Roston (drums).
