More About

When it comes to dancehall dons Beenie Man and Mr. Vegas, few have been so good for so long. The former was still a child when he released his debut, The Invincible Beenie Man: The Ten Year Old DJ Wonder, and scored his first international hit with “Who Am I (Sim Simma).” More recent tracks like “I’m Drinking Rum & Red Bull,” a wonderful ode to a horrible drink, and “Let’s Go to the Beach,” one of the few things getting us through this long winter, suggest he has no intention of slowing down as he enters his forties. Likewise, Vegas broke out with ’90s hits “Heads High” and “Nike Air,” but that didn’t stop him from recording “Bruk it Down,” last year’s song of the summer. Tonight at B.B. King’s, the two are celebrating Power 105’s DJ Norie with reggae group Morgan
Heritage.
