VLADA is not just a gay/drag bar located in Hell’s kitchen with a weekly show called “Slurp,” it’s also a place to get married! Shortly after New York made gay marriage legal, VLADA owner Von Shats became an ordained minister and will perform the ceremony at Chapel VLADA, where, according to Von Shats, you won’t have to wait in long lines, deal with city clerks or spend time filling out forms. Plus you can have the reception right there at VLADA. Niagara Falls has nothing on this place. They also have special dance events Monday – Thursday.
