Rainbows and Triangles is sort of like a gay five and dime store, except normally priced. They sell t-shirts, speedos, short shorts, magazines, quirky birthday/holiday cards, sex toys, books, sandals and more. It was open and bright and generally felt more like a typical retail shop than a sex shop. Staff seemed friendly. The selection of cards and books of course leans gay but they have others too, like Steve Martin’s most recent novel. If you’re near Chelsea and need a Speedo or a card for your progressive grandma, this is your place.
