Best Eatery in a Former Greek Diner (2008)

While Jackson Diner would have won hands-down a few years ago, today the best is clearly Salut, a kosher Uzbekistani establishment with the requisite Russian-style chandelier, Casio, and big-screen TV. But the resemblance stops there. There's lagman, a lamb broth with loads of vegetables and homemade noodles, and great charcoal-barbecued sweetbreads.
