Most Attractive Restaurant that Looks Like a Village (2008)

Vatan is a restaurant serving an all-you-can-eat feast from India's easternmost territory of Gujarat (where half the people are named Patel). The food—which includes miniature pooris, vegetable curries like eggplant and peas, and black mustard potatoes—is of the plain and tasty sort, and the decor features tables inside a two-story colonial- style building, and under spreading faux trees. Relax and eat slowly.
